Massage
Massage therapy can play an important role in long-term wellcare for people living with spinal cord injury and neurological conditions. It may help reduce muscle tension and discomfort, support circulation, improve body awareness, and promote nervous system regulation. Many clients also find that massage helps manage stress, fatigue, and the physical demands of daily life, creating a stronger foundation for movement, participation, and overall well-being. As part of NeuAbility’s integrative health services, massage therapy supports the body’s capacity to stay engaged in exercise, community, and the activities that matter most.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a whole-person therapy that can support pain management, relaxation, sleep, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being for people living with spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions.
Clients may use acupuncture to address concerns such as chronic pain, muscle tension, stress, fatigue, sleep disruption, and symptoms related to autonomic imbalance. Treatment is individualized to each person’s needs and health goals.
At NeuAbility, acupuncture can be used on its own or alongside adaptive exercise and other integrative health services to support comfort, resilience, and long-term wellness.
Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care can help support mobility, comfort, posture, and overall physical function for people living with spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions.
Through individualized assessment and treatment, chiropractic care may help address musculoskeletal discomfort, movement restrictions, and the physical stresses associated with altered movement patterns, wheelchair use, and compensatory strategies.
As part of NeuAbility’s Integrative Health Services, chiropractic care can support the body’s ability to move and adapt, helping people stay engaged in exercise, daily life, community, and long-term we.
